If you use an AOL account, you will find that Xmanage will not automaticly invoke the AOL browser. You must be online with AOL for Xmanage to connect to your sites. It is also recomended that you install IE4.0 or higher. You need not use it but the AOL browser will use parts of it to improve performance and web site compatibility.
